Body Thief gets 4 1/2 stars from RT
Magazine!
"Barry returns with the second book in her
futuristic shapeshifter series. The hero has every
reason to hate alien shifters, which places his head and
his heart in serious conflict. From the very first page,
Barry charts a fast-paced tale that packs plenty of
danger and insidious treachery. You won't want to put
this down!"

and Reviewer Top Pick "From
the first chapter to the last, Barry has drawn a believable,
interesting and thought provoking action packed ride.
Her characters portray situations that are not
unfamiliar to many of those faced in everyday life today.
Well, shifters aside.
And this realism adds a defined layer of reality making
the story even more interesting and believable.
Add in the delicious romance between Griffin and
Camille and this book has it all. This title has action,
adventure, imagination and sensuous romance."
That's
What I'm Talking About: A- "Ms.
Barry has provided a very strong heroine with Cam! I
enjoyed watching Cam put Mercer in his place at every turn.
I'm evil that way, and a sucker for a strong female character.
I really liked watching the two come together, as well.
It was well-crafted and thoughtful writing for the sci fi
genre. Love scenes, eagerly awaited, were tender and
integral to the plot. I didn't find any fluff, no
unnecessary side stories, or anything else that deterred from
the main plot arc. Loved to hate the baddie, Harding...
but couldn't take focus off the Cam/Mercer storyline long
enough to delve into that one further."

Vixon Book Reviews: A "This was a fast
paced PNR that had a strong Romantic Suspense feel to it. The
characters and their development were great and I really
enjoyed watching the storyline unfold. There were strong
characters, great action scenes, and a wonderful love
story."

Lips Reviews: 4 1/2 Body "Thief is unique, new take on shifters.
I loved the characters of Camille and Griffin. Griffin’s
whole world fell apart when a Shifter assumed his life and
ruined his career and marriage, but his mindset begins to
shift the more time he spends with Camille. Camille has no
reason to trust humans, but she wants to do the right thing
even though it may be damaging to Shifters trying to make a
place on earth. Watching them come together was touching and
at times, downright sizzling. This series has definitely
earned a spot on my must-read list!"
